My goal is to learn J.S. Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” on the guitar. I’m giving myself a year to be able to play the whole piece reasonably well. Aside from some lessons with jazz guitar about 40 years ago, I have no training in music and no discernible talent with the guitar. Can your average Joe learn this thing in 1 year? We shall see. Let the fun begin.
